We had a busy and fun Christmas and holiday season. Kevin's family has a yearly Christmas party and this year since we have a new house we were elected to host the party. There were about 40 people at our house. Everyone brought a Mexican dish and we did a trivia gift exchange. Kevin made fudge for our new three tier hosting piece. AJ hung out with all of his cousins and as you can see from the pics they formed a band and AJ was the lead singer! We all had a great night and slept well when it was done! Christmas Eve we spent the evening with Mimi, Pampaw and immediate family. Then on Christmas my parents were in town and we just spent the day at our house unwrapping gifts and eating. AJ seemed to understand the whole idea of unwrapping gifts, but he wanted to tear into all the presents, so we kept having to take some away from him. Then he started passing out gifts to Daddy, Papa, Granny and Mommy. He got some wonderful toys and a cool tent from Mimi and Pampaw! Kevin and him got a new glass case for the winning football my Dad kicked during the 1963 Cotton Bowl championship game - UT vs Navy! The guys were super excited about this gift (Well, Kevin was and someday when AJ understands, he will be too!)
