Since AJ's 4th Birthday was yesterday, I wanted to write down some things to remember this time. Here are the things I want to remember about AJ at 4:
When you tell Daddy and I you love us.
When you play with Hope and always call her "Baby."
How sweet you are to your sister.
Your silly laugh.
Your Karate moves, watching you run, kick balls, playing outside, in your gymnastics class, riding your bike and scooter - such a boy.
That you are trying so hard to grow up, but I don't want you to :(
When you tell me that you listened at school and that you will stay in your bed.
Your wonderful imagination and how fun it is to watch you pretend.
How sweet you are to animals and other kids.
Your perfect face and beautiful hair.
I LOVE YOU ANTHONY JAMES SMITH AND I FEEL SO LUCKY TO BE YOUR MAMA!

Granny's 67th!

We had a fabulous weekend in Marshall a few weeks ago on Oct. 23rd for Granny's 67th Birthday! We met Granny and Papa in Longview at Johnny Cases, then we went into Marshall for nap time and after nap time we headed down to Cado Lake for a boat trip! It was so cool because they had everything decorated for Halloween, there were lots of scary creatures hanging from things along our tour and the kids loved it!

HALLOWEEEEEEENNNNN
Here are some more funny shots from Halloween that I did not post on facebook - love my little ladybug and Buzz Lightyear! They did so great trick r treating - AJ was a pro and Hope thought it was a show, so she kept blowing everyone kisses! They also had a fabulous time at their school party, playing games and getting CANDY!

Football - kind of
On Sunday, for the Cowboys game, we went over to Mimi's and Pampaw's. Crystal, Mimi and I and the kids left during the game and went down to Mimi's church for a Bazar they were having. They had a couple of Bounce Houses (one with water and a slide - AJ LOVED), games, things to buy like jewerly and we even did a cake walk (I won some cupcakes!) The kids had a great time. Its still hot in TEXAS!

Papa takes GREAT photo's
My Dad ALWAYS takes the best pictures, so here are once again some great shots of the kids when my parents took them to Marshall in late July - the weekend of Kevin's accident. They got to have lots of fun playtime at the condo and outside, as well as AJ got to go with Papa to Jerry's Ranch and see cows and go fishing! Then of course they had to get new cowboy and cowgirl hats and AJ got some new cowboy boots! Fun Times in Marshall!

Hope is 18 months!
I LOVE THIS PICTURE! She actually brought these earrings to me to put on her!
In the mist of Kevin's accident two weeks ago, our baby girl was 18 months on July 23rd, one day before Kevin's 40th birthday! I am just now trying to catch up and wanted to post that she had her check-up and she is 22 pounds (10%) and her length is 32 in. (60%). She is really starting to talk and make new sounds, as well as running, climbing, going down the slide by herself and of course playing with AJ! She loves to do whatever AJ is doing and they are starting to really play together now that she is getting bigger. AJ likes to wrestle with her and she is one tough cookie - I think Mommy freaks out way more than she does! YOu can see more new pics of Hope Alecia Smith at 18 months on Facebook!

Going to Marshall!

Here are some great pictures my parents took when they had the kids in Marshall - it is so special to us that they get to spend this time with them there and create such wonderful memories with their grandparents. I have such amazing memories of going to Marshall and spending time with my Granny and Papa as well as going to spend time with my Grandmother. I so wish my grandparents could have met my children!
