SUMMMER 2011

Wow - we have had a hot and busy summer! With fall right around the corner - I thought I should finally get on the blog and add a update. The kids have had a blast this summer "living" at the pool and at the lake - that is about all we can do in this heat! We spent some time at the lake with Mimi and Pampaw and Kevin's family, at Caddo lake at Cissy and Hap's new place, we had Steph and her kids visit us from Denver, went to a couple of bday parties, had cousin Gabe over for the weekend and of course had lots of fun with Granny and Papa when they came to visit! Here are some great pics my parents took from their time here - other pics from our summer adventures can be seen on my facebook page. Its been such a fun summer and now we are ready for it to COOL off!

Hope is 2!

My Baby girl turned 2 on Sunday and of course I wanted to post some things to always remember my Hope Alecia Smith:
I love how sweet you are and how concerned you are if someone gets hurt.
I love your laugh and your smile.
I love how much you love animals and when you say "Heckle!"
I love when you ask "Me?"
I love to watch you run around and play with AJ.
I love when you ask "Where AJ?" or "Where Daddy?"
I love how active you are and that you never sit down, just like Mommy :)
I love you Hope and I am so proud to be your Mama!

At Hopes 2 year check up she weights 24.6 pounds and is 35" tall. She is in the 20% for her weight and the 80% for her height.

December is over
